Company Formation and Market Entry
How do I start working with BECO? +
Send us an overview of your business activity, current stage, and what you need to achieve. We will review the information with you, then identify the proposed service, initial requirements, and next step.
Do you help foreign companies enter Kuwait? +
Yes. We help GCC and international companies organize their market-entry requirements, assess the appropriate route, and coordinate formation and operational files with specialists and relevant authorities.
Can a company be established with 100% foreign ownership? +
Foreign ownership of up to 100% may be available under specific legal routes, including a direct investment license when its requirements are met.
We review the business activity, shareholders, and operating model before proposing a route. Eligibility for full foreign ownership or approval is not assumed for every project.
Is the KDIPA route suitable for every project? +
No. The KDIPA route is suitable only for projects that meet the applicable investment criteria and can provide the required business plan, supporting documents, and evidence of economic value.
Depending on the activity, ownership structure, project scale, and required timeline, another route through the Ministry of Commerce and Industry may be more practical. BECO reviews the available options before recommending the most suitable route.
Timing, Fees, and Scope of Services
How long do the procedures take? +
The timeframe depends on the business activity, ownership structure, required approvals, and the completeness of the submitted documents. After reviewing the project, BECO provides an indicative implementation schedule and explains the main stages. Government processing times may change and therefore cannot be guaranteed.
How are service fees determined? +
Fees are determined according to the scope, size, complexity, and requirements of the work. BECO's quotation states the professional fees separately from government charges and third-party costs, and clearly specifies what is included and excluded.
Do you provide support after the company is established? +
Yes. BECO can provide ongoing support after establishment, including assistance with license renewals, government procedures, work permits, administrative files, banking coordination, and operational requirements. The continuing scope is agreed with the client according to the company's actual needs.
Can I request just one service? +
Yes. Clients may request a single service or an integrated package. We define the exact task, deliverables, responsibilities, timeframe, and fees before work begins.
How do you provide specialized legal and operational services? +
BECO coordinates the required work through appropriately qualified specialists and service providers. Legal work is referred to or carried out in coordination with licensed legal professionals when required, while technical and sector-specific assignments are handled with relevant experts.
BECO remains the client's coordination point and identifies any third-party scope and costs in advance.
Can we discuss the project before I visit Kuwait? +
Yes. We can hold an initial online meeting, review the available documents, clarify the proposed activity and ownership structure, and prepare a preliminary roadmap and quotation before your visit.
We will also advise you if an in-person visit is required for signatures, identity verification, banking, or procedures before the relevant authorities.
